- 80% improvement in big data processing performance for enterprise-level integrated DB appliance
- GS(Good Software) Certification 1st grade validates superior quality and reliability
TmaxTibero, a leading DBMS (Database Management System) provider in Korea, has launched its next-generation database appliance to support business innovation in hyper-scale data environments.
On March 13, TmaxTibero introduced an all-in-one DB appliance that combines its flagship DBMS, Tibero, Lenovo’s high-performance server ThinkSystem SR650 V3, and ultra-fast network capabilities.
Equipped with Tibero7, fully compatible with Oracle, this DB appliance boosts data processing performance by 80% compared to its predecessor. It features the ultra-high-speed InfiniBand (100Gbps) network solution, improving data transfer speeds by over 10 times.
This appliance offers a flexible architecture that allows businesses to scale DB and storage servers according to their needs. Powered by Tibero’s active-active clustering (TAC) technology, it ensures uninterrupted service. Additionally, it overcomes I/O bottlenecks with techniques like Function Offloading, Storage Data Map, and Auto Flash Caching, delivering up to 10x faster data analytics and enabling real-time data insights.
This appliance also received the GS Certification 1st grade, Korea’s software quality certification, validating its superior quality and reliability.
Sang-Young Park, Head of TmaxTibero’s Research Division, shared, “This appliance is currently undergoing PoC (Proof of Concept) with major clients and is proving its enterprise-grade performance and stability in real-world environments. We are committed to continuous development and performance improvement, enabling more customers to make swift, data-driven decisions.”
